The 10th season of the Big Bash League will begin on 10 December

The tenth season of Australia’s famous Big Bag League will begin from December 10 in Hobart and Canberra followed by other matches in the league from 23 December in Queensland and 28 December in Adelaide. Cricket Australia released the list of the first 21 matches of the Big Bash League (BBL), saying – it was the most difficult decision made by the league so far. Information about the remaining matches after these matches will be released in the coming weeks.

The board continues to work with state governments and hopes that ease of lockdown restrictions will allow them to take BBL to more states. The matches are also expected to be held in Melbourne and Sydney and Perth in January. The board said that this season’s opening match will be played between Hobart Hurricanes and defending champion Sydney Sixers at the Blundstone Arena. He told that Hobart Hurricanes, Perth Scorchers, Melbourne Renegades, Sydney Sixers and Adelaide Strikers will play all their first matches at the Oval ground in Hobart while Sydney Thunder, Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Stars will play their opening matches in Canberra.

It is noteworthy that on the Indian cricket team’s tour of Australia, nine matches of the Big Bash League will be played before the first day-night test match and there will be no match of the league for two days of the Test match. League matches will be held on the third and fourth day of the Test match played in pink ball in Adelaide, Australia. For the rest of the Test series, any match of BBL will be held only after the match ends.

It has been a difficult year for so many people of Australia and the world and we look forward to bringing BBL to every state.
