By India Today Web Desk: Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan desires constructive mindset from their facet after the heavy drubbing obtained from England of their first T20 World Cup match. Afghanistan had been handed a 5-wicket loss by Jos Buttler’s males, who ran via the Afghan batting line-up and bundled them out for simply 112 runs.

Rashid, top-of-the-line spinners in trendy cricket, stated that it was vital to have a constructive mindset regardless of their early defeat within the event. The leg spinner backed the power of the Afghan group and stated that they’ve the power to defeat any facet within the event.

“You know, you don’t know about T20 what’s going to happen against any team, you know? It’s not about like someone who is strong, someone is very weak. You have seen in the qualifier, like West Indies lost to team’s like…but, you know, anything can happen. It’s just about having the right mindset, positive mindset and having that self belief that, yes, we are capable of beating any side,” the spinner stated within the submit match press convention.

“You know, we have beaten Ireland, we have beaten Sri Lanka and we played New Zealand. Australia. Yeah. So who knows? I think we just need to play the right cricket, positive cricket and if you win, you know, two or three games, you never know what’s going to happen. But at the moment we just need to have that one game at a time and focus on that and let’s see what happens,” Rashid concluded.

Afghanistan have been drawn into a tricky group with defending champions Australia. Barring the hosts, the group has New Zealand, three-time finalists Sri Lanka, and Ireland. The Mohammad Nabi group faces New Zealand of their subsequent match.
