South Africa fined for gradual over-rate in second ODI in opposition to India

South Africa have been fined 20 per cent of their match payment for sustaining a gradual over-rate in opposition to India within the second ODI right here, the ICC mentioned on Saturday.
Match referee Andy Pycroft imposed the sanction after Temba Bavuma’s facet was dominated to be one over wanting the goal after time allowances have been considered.

India made 287 for six after opting to bat. Rishabh Pant prime scored for the guests with 85 off 71 balls whereas skipper Okay L Rahul made 55 off 79 balls.

Spinner Tabraiz Shamsi was the decide of the South Africa bowlers, taking two wickets for 57 runs in 9 overs.

South Africa chased down the goal in 48.1 overs. Janneman Malan was the house group’s top-scorer with 91 off 108 whereas his senior opening companion Quinton de Kock made 78 in 66 balls.
