By India Today Web Desk: Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfaraz Ahmed, whereas responding to a journalist after his match-saving hundred within the Karachi Test, shut down any prospects of him main the Pakistan facet once more and stated that his accountability is to again Babar Azam until the time he’s captain.

“Thank Allah, I got an opportunity to play. Good things have started to happen. Shahid bhai has played cricket with me, he has seen me play. I think your ability to play at the highest level depends on two things, form and fitness. If you have form and fitness, then definitely, you can play until you are 40 or even 42.

“You requested me about captaincy, see, at the moment, Babar Azam is the captain, until the time he’s captain, it is our accountability to assist him totally,” Sarfaraz added.
