Rajasthan Royals defeated Chennai Super Kings by seven wickets in the IPL-13 (IPL 2020) match played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Monday. The Rajasthan bowlers stopped Chennai for 125 runs losing five wickets in 20 overs and then achieved the target by losing three wickets in 17.3 overs.
Jose Butler scored an unbeaten 70 for Rajasthan. He faced 4 balls and hit seven fours and two sixes in his innings. Captain Steve Smith scored 26 not out. No batsman could play a big innings for Chennai. Ravindra Jadeja was the highest scorer with 35 runs off 30 balls. Sam Curran scored 22 runs off 25 balls with the help of a four and a six. Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored 28 runs. For Rajasthan, Joffra Archer, Karthik Tyagi, Rahul Tewatia, Shreyas Gopal took one wicket each.
