PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi has laid out his membership’s January plans, saying they should maintain the identical staff for the remainder of the 2022-23 season.

By India Today Web Desk: PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi has laid out his membership’s January plans, saying they should maintain the identical staff for the remainder of the 2022-23 season.

Speaking to L‘Equipe, Al-Khelaifi mentioned the staff doesn’t want any extra adjustments and they’re going to attempt to maintain the identical squad for the remainder of the season.

“We’ll see, but I don’t think so. We don’t need anyone. We have to keep the same team. I think we have found a collective spirit and that we are well,” mentioned Al-Khelaifi.

The PSG chairman mentioned he respects supervisor Christophe Galtier loads attributable to his human values, including that he’s an excellent coach.

“We all talk together. I respect the coach a lot, I appreciate him a lot because he has human values. He is a very good coach. He is one of the two coaches for whom I have the greatest respect for,” Al-Khelaifi added.

Speaking about Luis Campos’ recruitment, Al-Khelaifi mentioned the brand new gamers have to adapt to the town and the staff, insisting that he’s pleased with the recruitment technique.

“Honestly, it’s great. The players need to adapt to the team, to the city, to the level too. Afterwards, there are a lot of matches, injuries. But I am very happy. We bought French, young people. We are also building for the future. And we haven’t lost (13 wins, 2 draws in 15 days)! The team is growing, it is playing better and better,” mentioned Al-Khelaifi.

When requested about the way forward for PSG and what he’s wanting ahead to, Al-Khelaifi mentioned he needs it take it step-by-step.

“I already said it before the season. Step by step. It’s the end of the World Cup already, then Ligue 1. And in February, we will face Bayern,” Al-Khelaifi added.
