Last year, Liverpool were runner-ups behind Manchester City in a drama-filled final day of the Premier League. However, this season, Liverpools defensive frailties means that they have already dropped points in six out of their eight matches.

“We know we’ve got to work and we’ve got to work onerous. That’s the one factor to do and the one manner ahead,” Van Dijk said.
