People who say that I fought with Pep Guardiola is mendacity: Bayern Munich’s on-loan defender Joao Cancelo

On-loan Bayern Munich defender Joao Cancelo has stated that there have been no points between him and Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola. Cancelo claimed that folks saying that there was a combat between the 2 are mendacity.

By India Today Web Desk: Bayern Munich’s on-loan defender Joao Cancelo has stated that he did not have a fallout with Pep Guardiola and stated that folks saying that he had a bust-up with the Spanish tactician is mendacity.

Cancelo made his transfer to Bayern for the rest of the season on switch deadline day within the winter. However, there have been reviews suggesting that the Portuguese defender had a bust-up with Guardiola.

The 28-year-old has now rubbished the claims and stated that he’s open to a return to the membership. Speaking to Movistar Plus, as quoted by Goal.com, Cancelo stated that individuals who stated he and Guardiola had a combat are mendacity.

The defender stated that the choice to go away was made in session with the membership.

“People who say that I fought with Guardiola is a lie. I didn’t feel important in the team in the last games. I spoke with the coach and he also agreed. And together with the club we decided that I had to leave, that it was the best for me,” Cancelo defined to Movistar Plus after Bayern’s spherical of 16 Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain.

“I like the new opportunities, it’s not against City. I think that at City he has taken the step to the level he wanted to reach, that’s where I became the player I am today. I am grateful to both Pep and the club because they gave me everything. My daughter was born in Manchester and it’s a club I’ll never forget. And who knows, in football you never know and at the end of the year I can return.”

There have been rumours linking Cancelo with a transfer to Real Madrid as effectively within the winter. While the 28-year-old stated that he did not get a suggestion from Los Blancos, he went on to remark that he was flattered by the reported curiosity from the La Liga giants in him.

“I didn’t obtain the supply. The fact is that no, but when they are saying it… I do not know,” he added. “If a membership like Madrid is behind me, it is a pleasure for me as a result of it is probably the greatest golf equipment on this planet. I believe it is a signal that I’m doing issues proper.”
