Ons Jabeur honoured at Presidential Palace after ending as Wimbledon 2022 runner-up

World No.5 Ons Jabeur was elated after Tunisian President Kaïs Saïed honoured her on the Presidential Palace in Carthage. The President awarded her with the nation’s Great Medal of the National Order of Merit after she completed because the runner-up within the ladies’s singles at Wimbledon 2022.

The 27-year-old was joined by coach Issam Jellali and her husband, Karim Kamoun. They have been acquired by the President of Tunisia.

“I want to see more players, not just Tunisian but Arab and African players on the tour. I just love the game and I want to share this experience with them,” she added.

Back in May, Jabeur bowed out of the French Open after she misplaced within the first spherical at Roland Garros. However, she made fairly a little bit of amends within the grass-court match.
