By India Today Web Desk: India coach Rahul Dravid has opened up on what Shubman Gill’s father was telling the 23-year-old when the younger batter was failing to transform his scores into huge a whole bunch.

Gill has been in scintillating kind in ODI cricket and he put the New Zealand bowlers to the sword within the three-match collection. The 23-year-old began issues off with a double hundred within the first ODI and capped issues off with one other hundred in Indore on Tuesday.

“I think his father will be glad that over the last month or so, what you have done is you really made it rain. So, well done. It must make you and your dad really proud,” mentioned Dravid.

Gill, nonetheless, went on to say that his father would not be too joyful along with his 112 within the third ODI towards New Zealand as he would have wished the 23-year-old to hold on a get an enormous rating.
