Former cricketer Mohammad Kaif feels that India can subject each Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav of their lineup going ahead. Kaif feels that Chahal and Kuldeep are wicket-takers and match-winners for the workforce.

By India Today Web Desk: Former cricketer Mohammad Kaif has claimed that India can subject each Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav within the enjoying XI going ahead, as he feels that the workforce may use this strategy going ahead.

Chahal and Yadav have loved a variety of success whereas bowling in tandem and each males had been included within the lineup for the second T20I towards New Zealand in Lucknow.

Both males picked a wicket every and had been very economical as they helped India stage the sequence.

Speaking forward of the third T20I on Star Sports’ Match Point, as quoted by Sportskeeda, Kaif stated that India can use Chahal and Yadav within the lineup collectively.

“Absolutely, you can do three and three. It is definitely on because they are quality bowlers. Kuldeep and Chahal bring with them a lot of experience. The guy who comes to bat at No. 7 is an all-rounder.”

Kaif stated that Washington Sundar’s emergence does enable India to experiment with their bowling lineup much more.

“With Washington Sundar being there, you can play around because you have got a batter at No. 7. You need batting till No. 7 only in T20 cricket because the No. 8 does not get to bat. So you have a solid batter at No. 7,” stated Kaif.

The former cricketer stated that the workforce would want wicket-takers who may transform match-winners. Kaif feels that the spin duo matches into the mould and he thinks three spinners and three pacers could possibly be the way in which ahead for India.

“Then you need wicket-takers who are match-winners, which Kuldeep Yadav and Chahal are. Then you have fast bowlers. Three and three is the way to go forward. There is nothing wrong with that because you don’t see anything lacking there.”

“Hardik Pandya comes at No. 6. He is also an all-rounder. So you can go with six bowlers, the batting is also there till No. 7, and the six bowlers you have are proper wicket-takers. So I feel you will see this approach quite a lot going forward.”
