By India Today Web Desk: Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has backed his teammate David Warner to be appointed as the following ODI captain forward of the Cricket Australia board assembly.

Warner was slapped with a lifetime captaincy ban within the aftermath of the 2018 ball-tampering scandal. However, Cricket Australia is prone to take up the matter on the annual common assembly with the states on Friday. This comes after captain Aaron Finch retired from ODIs in September.
