Mandeep Singh gave his father an emotional tribute after putting a fifty in the match.

In the 13th season of IPL, Mandeep Singh of Kings XI Punjab played match-winning innings against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He marked his 6th fifty in the league. After the match, Mandeep said that his father always inspired him to bat till the end and win the match. He used to say make 100 runs or 200, but don’t get out. Mandeep dedicated these innings to his late father Hardev Singh. Mandeep said, ‘My father always used to tell me not to be out. In the last match, I was dismissed for a quick run. This innings is special for me, because I have not been out.

Mandeep said, ‘Before this match, I also talked to Lokesh Rahul. I told him that if I play my natural game, I am confident that I will be able to win my team.

Mandeep said, ‘Rahul seemed to agree with me and he supported me a lot. I am very happy after today’s batting. Mandeep told that Gayle also inspired him to bat till the end. He said, “Gayle is very good and we are very excited about the next match.” Actor Sunil Shetty also praised Mandeep’s innings.
