Jota to overlook World Cup with harm, says Liverpool’s Klopp

Portugal ahead Diogo Jota has been dominated out of the World Cup on account of a calf harm, Liverpool supervisor Juergen Klopp instructed reporters on Tuesday.

Jota, 25, was taken off on a stretcher deep into stoppage time throughout Liverpool’s 1-0 Premier League win towards champions Manchester City on the weekend.

Diogo Jota is ready for a chronic spell on the sidelines as a result of calf muscle harm he sustained on Sunday, which can even rule him out of Portugal’s World Cup marketing campaign.

“The first diagnosis was clear and it’s very sad news for us. We have to look at (player welfare), we always do and if we can consider things lineup-wise, we will,” stated Klopp, including that Jota wouldn’t require surgical procedure.

Jota, capped 29 occasions by Portugal, has scored 10 occasions for the nationwide workforce.
