SunRisers Hyderabad quick bowler Umran Malik to make his India debut within the first T20I in opposition to Ireland on Sunday (June 26).

Umran Malik is all set to make his India debut within the first T20I in opposition to Ireland on Sunday (June 26). The SunRisers Hyderabad quick bowler acquired his India cap from vice-captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar on the Malahide Cricket Club Ground in Dublin.

The 22-year-old Malik had a memorable outing within the current Indian Premier League, taking 22 wickets in his 14 outings for SunRisers. He grew to become general the fourth highest wicket-taker within the IPL 2022 and highest wicket-taker for SunRisers.

His spectacular efficiency opened the door to the Indian dressing room for him because the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) named him within the squad for the house T20I sequence in opposition to South Africa.
