Former finalist Delhi Capitals unveiled their new jersey for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on Saturday. Delhi took to social media to share a glimpse of their new jersey, which is an efficient improve from their equipment from the earlier season.

The Delhi Capitals have added purple color to their authentic blue jersey. The purple covers the left shoulder whereas the remainder of the shirt has its trademark blue color. The tiger image, which has been an integral a part of Delhi’s emblem and jersey up to now, has been given an even bigger house on the shirt.

“With an equal dash of red and blue, the new jersey exudes youthful and vibrant energy. While the red symbolises the team’s on-field courage, the blue stands for balance and composure. The tiger, an intrinsic part of the DC logo, is bigger and bolder, as the team gears up to roar again!,” the Capitals stated in an announcement.

Delhi shared video of the revealing of their new jersey and had their captain Rishabh Pant, quick bowler Anrich Nortje and new-recruit David Warner pose with the brand new jersey on Saturday.

The first batch of jerseys got to pick out Delhi Capitals followers on the workforce’s dwelling floor the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Additionally, choose kids from the town, the DC Cubs, got official jerseys too, as a part of a shock exercise curated specifically for them, the franchise added.

“It’s a new cycle of the IPL, and we can’t wait to see our players in this brand new jersey,” stated Vinod Bisht, Interim CEO, Delhi Capitals.

Delhi Capitals will start the 10-team IPL 2022 season towards 5-time champions Mumbai Indians on the Brabourne Stadium on March 27, a day after the opening match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.
