India’s Shubi Gupta, Charvi emerge champs in U-12 and U-8 part

India’s Shubi Gupta and A Charvi emerged winners within the ladies under-12 and under-8 sections respectively within the FIDE World Cadets Chess Championship .

Shubhi Gupta, who hails from Ghaziabad, scored 8.5 factors from 11 rounds to assert the highest prize within the under-12 occasion. In the ladies under-8 part, Charvi completed first with 9.5 factors from 11 rounds. India’s Safin Safarullakhan claimed a bronze medal within the under-8 class with 9 factors. The Kerala boy ended up half a degree behind France’s Marc Llari and Russian Sav Shogdzhiev Roman, who completed first and second respectively after the tie-breaks.
