FIFA World Cup: Morocco followers clashed with police in Brussels after Walid Regragui’s facet misplaced to France 0-2 within the semi-final on Wednesday.

By India Today Web Desk: Moroccan followers clashed with police in Brussels after Morocco crashed out of the FIFA World Cup semi-final on Wednesday.

Around 100 followers, who have been wrapped in Moroccan flags, threw fireworks and different objects at police wearing riot gear close to Brussels South station. Fans set alight rubbish luggage and cardboard bins and police responded with water cannon and tear fuel.

Police detained a number of followers and stated that the clashes have been transient and triggered no severe injury, Reuters reported.
