By India Today Web Desk: Portugal head coach Fernando Santos has stated that he hasn’t spoken to Cristiano Ronaldo about his proposed transfer to Al-Nassr. According to a number of reviews, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has obtained a big-money provide from the Saudi Arabian membership.

Speaking forward of their match in opposition to Switzerland, Santos stated he hasn’t spoken to Ronaldo about his potential transfer to Al-Nassr.

“I haven’t spoken to him about this (move to Saudi club Al Nassr). We had a conversation with four players, but I don’t really know about this, to be honest. I didn’t even know about this. I just heard about this when I arrived here. Someone just told me about a few minutes ago, but that’s his decision. That’s what he has to deal with,” stated Santos.

He added that the crew is completely centered on the World Cup, including that their sport in opposition to Switzerland might be a troublesome one.

“We are totally focused here on the World Cup and supporting his team and that’s what we spoke about and that’s our focus. And I don’t know anything about this other issue. Well, obviously, tomorrow will be a very difficult match, two very strong teams, and this is round of 16. So it’s going to be a tough match, undoubtedly. But Portugal believes it can win,” Santos added.

The Portuguese was questioned about Ronaldo’s antics after their loss in opposition to South Korea, Santos stated he didn’t like Ronaldo’s response however is just centered on the sport in opposition to Switzerland.

“I did not like it. I really didn’t like it. And therefore, from that moment onwards, you have people … everything is finished, full stop regarding that issue. And now we have to think about tomorrow’s match and everyone focused on tomorrow’s match,” stated Santos.

Switzerland are all set to face Portugal within the spherical of 16 of the continuing FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
