By India Today Web Desk: Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has heaped reward on new supervisor Erik ten Hag, saying what he has accomplished in a short while is unbelievable. Manchester United beat Newcastle United 2-0 to elevate the 2022/23 EFL Cup at Wembley Stadium in London.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Keane mentioned Ten Hag was purchased in to rebuild the membership and what he has accomplished is such a brief house of time is unbelievable.

“Erik ten Hag was brought in to try and rebuild the club, get them to compete a bit more. What’s gone on in the last few years, I’ve been really critical, I disliked what they stood for. They weren’t a team, they weren’t together, issues on and off the pitch, but what the manager’s done in a short space of time is fantastic,” said Keane.

He went on to say that Manchester United have recruited very well since Ten Hag came in, adding that they have a spirit within the club now.

“They’ve recruited effectively, they have a spirit. They weren’t at their greatest at the moment however they gained a soccer match and the followers recognize that. There’s numerous arduous work forward, the gamers have gotten to make use of this as a springboard to get extra trophies over the subsequent few years, that is what it is about enjoying for Manchester United,” Keane added.
