Former World No. 1 Andy Murray conceded that it won’t be straightforward for him to return to Great Britain’s Davis Cup squad, saying he’s conscious that competitors for the sports activities within the workforce goes to get solely more durable. “I wasn’t thinking about it before the weekend or during any of the doubles matches or anything … I lost my focus a bit and felt a little bit emotional about that.”

However, Murray mentioned he’s prepared to work arduous and ensure he’s prepared if the alternatives come his means sooner or later.

“It’s obviously not going to be easy with the players that we have… Then obviously don’t know which way the captain will go with the doubles after the results here, as well,” Murray mentioned.

“Don’t know what the future holds … But if I’m selected, yeah, I’ll definitely be involved,” he added.
