COVID-19 will not cease Olympics from occurring this summer season, says Tokyo 2020 chief

Tokyo Olympics chief Yoshiro Mori stated throughout a gathering of Olympic organisers and members of the Japan’s ruling get together in Tokyo that Olympics will go forward within the Japanese capital this summer season regardless of how Coronavirus evolves.
“We must go beyond discussion about whether we will hold it or not. It’s about how we will do it. Let’s think about a new kind of Olympics on this occasion,” he was quoted as saying by AFP.

The remark come at a time when organisers and authorities officers have burdened that the Olympics might be hosted with security regardless of the surge of COVID-19 around the globe.
Earlier it was reported that Japan’s PM Yoshihide Suga might announce a month-long extension of a virus state of emergency until March 7 in Tokyo and different elements of the nation.
