Booking of tickets for the third Test between India and England on the world’s greatest cricket stadium at Motera in Ahmedabad will start from Sunday, officers of the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) mentioned.
The authorities have determined to permit 50 per cent spectators contained in the Motera stadium for the final two Test matches of the four-match sequence, the GCA officers added.

England will play two Tests, together with a day-night match, and 5 T20 Internationals towards India on the stadium, which has a seating capability of 1 lakh ten thousand spectators, making it the world’s greatest within the sport.
GCA vice-president Dhanraj Nathwani mentioned that the GCA is honoured to be internet hosting the sequence after the COVID-19-forced hiatus and is trying ahead to entertaining the followers who can be required to observe all social distancing and security norms.
“We hope normalcy returns soon and we get to see the stadium packed with fans cheering from all the stands for their teams,” he mentioned.

The pink ball Test, the third sport within the sequence, will begin on February 24, for which the tickets have been priced between Rs 300 and Rs 1,000.
Another GCA official mentioned that President Ram Nath Kovind and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are more likely to attend the inaugural ceremony of the stadium on February 24.
The particulars of the inaugural occasion haven’t but been finalised, he mentioned.
