India’s top-ranked pair, Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, the Commonwealth Games champions from Birmingham, stormed into the quarter-finals of the boys’s doubles on the Badminton World Championship with a simple 21-12, 21-10 win over the World No. 32 Danish pair of Jeppe Bay & Lasse Molhede.

Earlier, Satwik and Chirag had cruised previous the Guatemalan staff of Jonathan Solis and Anibal Marroquin 21-8, 21-10 to make the pre-quarterfinals. Chirag and Satwik bought a bye within the opening spherical.
