Babar Azam after Pakistan crash out of Asia Cup 2023: Sri Lanka performed higher cricket than us

Skipper Babar Azam admitted that Pakistan weren’t on top of things throughout departments of their Asia Cup 2023 Super Four match towards Dasun Shanaka’s Sri Lanka on Thursday, September 14 on the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

“We have not been up to the mark in the bowling and fielding. That is why we lost the match. In the middle overs, we did not bowl well. That partnership cost us. We started well, ended well, but middle overs were not great. We have lacked that,” he added.

Mendis went on to attain 91 earlier than Iftikhar Ahmed dismissed him, however he departed solely after placing Sri Lanka in a commanding place.
