This was Paine’s third drop of the day, as he had earlier dropped Rishabh Pant twice through the first session of the day.
Team India performed with monumental grit and endurance, particularly after dropping Pant within the second session. Vihari battled a pulled hamstring all through the second and third session of the day because the Sydney Test resulted in a draw.
The four-match sequence stays degree at 1-1.
