By India Today Web Desk: Arsenal supervisor Mikel Arteta has slammed Video Assistant Referee Lee Mason for not understanding his job after Arsenal’s draw towards Brentford within the Premier League.

Mason allowed Brentford’s late aim to face, regardless of midfielder Christian Norgaard being offside throughout the build-up to the aim, which price Arsenal two essential factors within the Premier League title race. “That was a big, big, big not conceiving and understanding your job. That’s not acceptable, I’m sorry. And that cost Arsenal two points and that’s not going to be restored,” Arteta added.

The former Everton and Arsenal midfielder said he appreciates the apology but will only be satisfied when he gets the two points back. Premier League referee body PGMOL issued an apology to Arteta and Arsenal for the mistake made during their draw against Brentford.

“So we’re going have to search out these two factors some other place within the league.
