By India Today Web Desk: Legendary spinner Anil Kumble reckoned that Pakistan and England batters want to deal with the swing, tempo and bounce on the Melbourne Cricket Ground within the remaining of the T20 World Cup 2022 on Sunday, November 13.

England will go into the match after beating Rohit Sharma’s India by 10 wickets on the Adelaide Oval. Jos Buttler and Alex Hales’ unbeaten 170-run stand helped the Three Lions win the semi-final with as many as 24 balls to spare.

However, Kumble, India’s main wicket-taker in Test cricket, mentioned that the pitch on the MCG could be loads totally different in comparison with the one in Adelaide.

“We have seen at MCG there has been a lot more swing, bounce and pace. I don’t think it will be like the Adelaide pitch. Pakistan will have to watch out for that and so do England. They had two good opening partnerships in the last two games, but they still have to watch out for that swing,” Kumble was quoted as saying to ESPNcricinfo.

Kumble, within the meantime, additionally mentioned that the British workforce can have the higher hand going into the mega conflict in Melbourne.

“England certainly have the upper hand in terms of the experience and the firepower that they have and the options that’s available for them in the bowling line-up as well. But Pakistan will be formidable. Which Pakistan will turn up on Sunday, that’s the big question,” he added.

It’s pertinent to notice that Pakistan have by no means crushed England in T20 World Cups. Moreover, each Pakistan and England are but to win a T20I on the iconic venue in Melbourne.
