The 2021 Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) champions Perth Scorchers have retain South Africa all-rounder Marizanne Kapp for the 2022-23 season.

Kapp had received Player of the Final after an important efficiency in opposition to Adelaide Strikers at Optus Stadium. She scored 31 not out off 23 balls and took one wicket despite being bedridden within the lead-up to the match.

“Winning the title last year in front of the Orange Army was an awesome experience, and something the whole group is incredibly driven to repeat.
