Probe illegal phone tapping complaints, directs Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel

Three-member committee led by Principal Secretary Home to conduct investigation

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has taken the matter of illegal phone tapping seriously. He said that complaints regarding smart phone tapping indicate invasion of privacy.
He has given directions to form a committee under chairmanship of Principal Secretary (Home) to investigate the matter. Other members of the committee will include Inspector General of Police (Raipur) and Director, Public Relations.
The committee will conduct detailed investigation of the complaints and present a factual report within one month. Director General of Police will provide all necessary assistance to the committee.
