New Delhi. It is raining heavily in many areas of the country. It was told that the monsoon is still active, due to which there are chances of rain. Now on Thursday also, rain warnings have been issued by the Meteorological Department at many places. It was reported that waterlogging was reported in many areas of Jalpaiguri (West Bengal) on Thursday after heavy rains for the last few days. Several landslides have occurred due to incessant rains on National Highway 31 and National Highway 10 near Sevok, Darjeeling. Work is on to clear the closed roads.

According to the Meteorological Department, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar and Cooch Behar districts received heavy rainfall. At the same time, IMD has forecast very heavy rainfall in the next two-three days in North-East India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Bihar and parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh. According to IMD, both Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling will be generally cloudy till September 27. Temperatures in these areas are expected to remain between 24 ° C and 32 ° C.

At the same time, talking about rain in Delhi, scientists of India Meteorological Department have predicted no rain in the remaining days of September. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to increase by one degree over the next few days. It is said that the date of withdrawal of monsoon will be announced by the end of the month. However, the monsoon season is expected to officially end by September 30.
