Weather update: Heavy rains will occur in many states including Bihar, Rajasthan today! Next few hours heavy in these districts

New Delhi :Heavy rain will continue in many areas across the country even today. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in some big states. The flood situation in many parts of the country is unhappy. At the same time, heavy rains in the capital Delhi and its surrounding areas have disrupted life. However, there has been a decrease in rainfall here for a couple of days. But temperatures have seen a drop and are cloudy. Meanwhile, releasing the forecast of August 25, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert in many places including Bihar, Rajasthan. Apart from this, the Central Water Commission has issued a forecast of floods and said that in some areas, the situation has worsened within 6 hours.

The Water Commission said that some water areas and neighborhoods of Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli and Bageshwar districts of Poonch, Reasi and Ramban districts of Jammu and Kashmir – Uttarakhand subdivision are under moderate flood risk in the next 6 hours.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted heavy rains in Bihar, Rajasthan, Odisha and Uttarakhand today. IMD said in its All India Weather Warning Bulletin, ‘Heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal and Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam and Meghalaya, Madhya Maharashtra. , Konkan and Goa, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and isolated rains may occur over Kerala and Mahe.

The IMD has further stated that the low pressure area lies over Southwest Rajasthan and adjoining areas. It is likely to persist during the next 24 hours. The IMD advised, ‘The monsoon trough is active and is in the south of its normal state. It is likely to remain active during the next 2-3 days. Under the influence of the above systems, heavy to very heavy rainfall and widespread rainfall over the state of Gujarat may occur in Southwest Rajasthan on 25 August.

According to IMD, ‘strong wind (speed reaching 50-60 kmph) is likely to move over West Bay of West Bengal and West Bengal and many adjoining areas of West Bengal. Apart from this, winds of 45-55 kmph can be moved along the North Arabian Sea and Gujarat coast.
