The new rates are applicable daily from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles.

Petrol may be cheaper by up to 2 rupees
Internationally, Crude Oil Price Down prices have dropped and the rupee has come back strongly. In such a situation, experts are predicting a fall in the prices of petrol diesel domestically. If there is a 20 percent reduction in crude, then petrol and diesel can be reduced by 5 percent. So petrol and diesel can be cheaper by 2.5 to 3 rupees per liter.

Chennai Petrol is Rs 84.57 and diesel is priced at Rs 77.91 per liter.

Noida petrol is Rs 81.95 and diesel is Rs 72.87 per liter.
Gurugram petrol is Rs 79.72 and diesel is Rs 73.03 per liter.
Lucknow petrol is Rs 81.85 and diesel is Rs 72.77 per liter.

Patna petrol is Rs 84.13 and diesel is Rs 77.87 per liter.
Jaipur Petrol is Rs 88.73 and diesel is Rs 81.53 per liter.
