IPL may be signed with Chinese company Vivo, meeting to be held next week

After the bloody battle on the Indo-China border, the Chinese companies have started a boycott in India, in which the Indian people have also targeted the BCCI. The title sponsorship of the Indian Premier League, the world’s largest cricket league, is Vivo Company, a Chinese company. Vivo Company’s contract for title sponsorship in IPL was for 5 years, which will last till 2022. But after the people’s opposition, now the IPL Governing Council meeting will be considered to end the agreement with the Vivo company.
The meeting of the IPL Governing Council is to be held next week, in which all options will be seen to end the agreement with the Vivo company. The BCCI is a rich cricket body, but at the moment, like all boards, the BCCI has suffered some financial loss due to Corona. IPL 2020 could not be organized this year, but BCCI is also working on all options regarding IPL 2020. Because not having IPL 2020, the board could face huge economic losses.
