Farmer Janak Ram’s family gets happiness after getting bonus amount

30 Dec 2023, Korba: The state government is happy with the pending bonus amount of paddy purchase to the farmers and their families. This important initiative of the government to distribute the outstanding bonus amount is proving to be useful for the education of children including meeting the domestic needs of the farmers. Expressing happiness over receiving the bonus amount, farmer Shri Janak Ram Rathiya, resident of village Barpali of Korba development block, said that on the occasion of the birthday of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he has received Rs 1,38,840 as bonus amount. He said that he did not expect to get bonus amount for paddy sold in the year 2014’5 and 2015’6. But through this meaningful initiative of the Chhattisgarh government, which is concerned about the farmers, the farmers have got a big gift. Due to which millions of farmer families of the state are celebrating. Janak Ram said that by adopting hard work and advanced technology by him on his 36-acre ancestral land, he is increasing the production of his crops. Due to which their families are becoming self-sufficient. He told that this year also his paddy yield has been good and about 400 quintals of paddy will be sold. Janak Ram said that with the bonus amount received, he will meet his domestic needs and to meet the needs of his family. Expressing gratitude for this commendable and farmer friendly decision of the government, Shri Janak Ram Rathiya has thanked the Central and Chhattisgarh Government.
