Chinese government media fear firing from Indian troops on the border

1 min read

Efforts are underway at the military and diplomatic level to reduce border tension between India and China. But non-stressful statements are being published in the media of both countries. In this episode, China’s official newspaper Global Times has published a report that the bullet fired from India will have ‘unbearable consequences’. The newspaper wrote to observers that increasing the number of troops along the border of India and allowing it to open fire in a skirmish with the Chinese army would further increase tensions between the two countries and its consequences would be dangerous for India as well. The newspaper writes that this is happening at a time when India agreed to reduce tensions with China.

“It was decided at the military commander level meeting of the two countries that they would not increase the number of troops on the frontline any more, but India was not being sincere about its promise, which is increasing tensions.”
