New Delhi: While driving a car or bike, most people in the country believe that traffic police can be avoided by showing fake documents. This is also true because in most states, the traffic police does not have the facility to verify documents immediately. But now this will not happen. Now every document of yours will already be present with the traffic authorities. 

Will not be able to give Dodge
Central Government amended the Motor Vehicles Act 1989 (Motor Vehicle Act). The government said on Saturday that vehicle documents including driving license and e-challan will be maintained from October 1, 2020 through an information technology portal. A statement said that during inspection of vehicle documents, physical documents will not be demanded in lieu of documents of vehicles found to be valid through electronic means.

Update information of your license 
Experts say that all the information related to your driving license will be available with the traffic authorities. With this, the government said that the details of driving license disqualified or revoked by the licensing authority will be recorded in the portal and it will be updated from time to time.

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said in a statement that it has issued notification regarding various amendments made to the Motor Vehicles Rules 1989, including vehicle-related documents through the portal from October 1, 2020, for better monitoring and implementation of the Motor Vehicles Rules. And e-challan can be maintained.
