With eye on bypolls, Himachal BJP courts Dhumal to spice up possibilities

After shedding two out of 4 municipal companies that went to polls earlier this month, the Himachal Pradesh BJP is now courting senior celebration chief and former CM Prem Kumar Dhumal to assist enhance the celebration’s possibilities within the upcoming Fatehpur Vidhan Sabha and Mandi Lok Sabha bypolls within the state.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur met former Dhumal on Sunday night at his residence at Sameerpur. The unscheduled assembly through the CM’s go to to Hamirpur is being seen as indicative of the truth that Dhumal could have some lively position within the state politics. The former CM had already turn into lively in Hamirpur after a gathering with state BJP in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna two month in the past.
After these bypolls, the 2022 Vidhan Sabha elections are subsequent and sources mentioned that state BJP feels the necessity of a mass chief like Dhumal.  Dhumal had misplaced his seat within the 2017 elections and he was sidelined after that for 3 and half years. After successful 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP constantly gained all elections within the state and Dhumal was the principle face within the marketing campaign until 2017 Vidhan Sabha ballot. But after shedding his seat from Sujanpur Vidhan Sabha constituency the rival group did every little thing to maintain him away from mainstream politics and Dhumal restricted himself solely to Sameerpur.

But the defeat in two municipal companies out of 4 this month has come as a giant jolt to CM Thakur and state BJP president Suresh Kashyap.

BJP misplaced the Solan and Palampur municipal companies elections. Congress gained in Palampur with a thumping majority and Solan with easy majority. BJP gained Mandi municipal company by itself and managed to elect the celebration mayor with the assistance of an Independent councillor in Dharamshala MC. unbiased councilor  help.
Dhumal had not campaigned for BJP candidates in municipal areas. Asked if Dhumal had refused to marketing campaign, state BJP president Suresh Kashyap mentioned: “Aisa nahin hai….sab lage the. Hum peechhe rah gaye.”
