MUMBAI: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated that he’ll apprise Union Home Minister Amit Shah in regards to the stone pelting incident on Maharashtra’s truck in Karnataka.

Fadnavis expressed his disappointment over the assaults and spoke to Karnataka CM BS Bommai over the cellphone condemning the incident.

The activists of Karnataka RakshanaVedika (KRV) pelted the stone at Maharashtra’s 5 lorries. The activists even blackened the quantity plates of the autos close to the Hirebagewadi toll plaza close to Belgaon on Tuesday.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai ensured that he’ll personally look into it and actions shall be taken in opposition to the individuals who have been concerned within the incident. He additionally ensured the safety of the buses and vehicles coming from Maharashtra.

While Maharashtra BJP spokesperson Keshay Upadhay alleged that the Congress in Karnataka is upsetting the activists of Karnataka RakshanaVedika (KRV) and inspiring stone-pelting-like incidents. He demanded an inquiry into this incident.
