Video of MP scholar getting thrashed surfaces, kin refuse to file grievance

BHOPAL: A video of a scholar getting thrashed in a personal teaching class by a trainer and friends in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh has gone viral on social media, however the police on Sunday mentioned nobody was keen to register a proper grievance on the difficulty.

After the video surfaced earlier this week, MP Home Minister Narottam Mishra had requested police to look into the incident and take motion.

When contacted, the MP Nagar police station in-charge mentioned these concerned had been known as for his or her statements after the video of Aurous Academy, a personal teaching institute, surfaced.

“The family members of the victim and accused students said that they don’t want any action in this regard. So, no case has been registered so far,” he added.

At least two movies of the incident have surfaced on social media in the course of the previous one week.

Several calls by PTI to Aurous Academy went unanswered.
