Uttar Pradesh police launch crackdown on unlawful arms forward of polls

Barely a month forward of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections, the Muzaffarnagar police have unearthed unlawful arms manufacturing and seized an enormous cache of arms and ammunition. SSP Abhishek Yadav stated that weapons had been being made within the mango orchard close to the Badkali village, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. The seized arms included no less than 131 pistols and weapons of assorted bores and numerous different firearms and weapons.

It is value noting that the Uttar Pradesh police have busted a number of such unlawful arms manufacturing rackets in the previous few days.

Only yesterday, the Muzaffarnagar police shared data of the same raid via its official Twitter deal with. During the raid, the Police recovered 5 315 bore pistols, two 12 bore pistols, six reside cartridges, six semi-finished weapons, six 12 bore barrels, eight 315 bore barrels, one drill machine, one welding machine, ten-meter cable and many others.

The main accused, Tamrez, was apprehended by the Chhapar police in Muzaffarnagar, based on police.
