NEW DELHI: The University Grants Commission (UGC) on Friday introduced a brand new, reframed and modified draft of Deemed to be Universities Regulations 2022 to align with the broader insurance policies of upper schooling as contained within the National Education Policy (NEP), 2020.
UGC chairman Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar informed this newspaper that these laws had been framed to control the method of declaring establishments of educational excellence as deemed universities in a scientific method and to keep up the standard of upper schooling offered by establishments thought-about to be universities in step with the beliefs of the idea of a college.
