Two terrorists killed in separate encounters in Kulgam & Pulwama

SRINAGAR: Two terrorists have been killed in two separate encounters with safety forces in Kulgam and Pulwama districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, police mentioned.

Acting on particular info concerning the presence of a terrorist in village Khandipora space of Kulgam, a cordon and search operation was launched by the safety forces there, a police spokesman mentioned.

During the search operation, because the search social gathering approached in the direction of the suspected spot, the hiding terrorist fired indiscriminately upon the forces, which was retaliated successfully resulting in an encounter, he mentioned.

In the following encounter, a categorized terrorist recognized as Rasiq Ahmed Ganie, resident of Shouch Kulgam of proscribed terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen was killed and his physique was retrieved from the positioning of encounter, he mentioned.

As per police data, the killed terrorist was concerned in a number of terror crime instances together with assaults on police/safety forces, and civilian atrocities, the spokesman mentioned.
