Third arrest made in Hanskhali rape case

HANSKHALI: CBI sleuths on Saturday arrested one individual from Ranaghat in West Bengal’s Nadia district for his alleged involvement within the case of a minor woman’s rape and subsequent loss of life in Hanskhali space, a senior official of the company stated This is CBI’s first arrest within the case.

Two different accused within the case, one in all them son of an area TMC chief in Nadia, have been earlier apprehended by the state police.

“The suspect held today, a friend of the local leader’s son, had been hiding in Ranaghat near National-Highway 34. We traced him via mobile tower dump technology. We will be questioning him,” the CBI official stated when contacted. He had fled Hanskhali along with his mom quickly after the case got here to gentle, he acknowledged.
