Survivor of Maharashtra bus accident recollects horror; says escaped by breaking window of burning automobile

BULDHANA: One of the survivors of the ill-fated bus that caught fireplace and led to the dying of 25 passengers in Maharashtra’s Buldhana district on Saturday, mentioned he and some others managed to come back out of the burning automobile by breaking its rear window.

“A tyre of the bus burst and the vehicle caught fire immediately. The blaze spread in no time,” the survivor mentioned. “The passenger seated next to me and I managed to escape by breaking the rear window,” he mentioned. “But not everyone could do it,” he mentioned.

According to the survivor, quickly after the accident groups of police and fireplace brigade reached the location shortly. 

Meanwhile, a neighborhood resident mentioned 4 to 5 passengers managed to flee by breaking one window of the bus. “But not everyone could do it,” he mentioned. We were in tears,” the native resident mentioned. Police mentioned that the eight survivors of the bus tragedy have been rushed to a close-by hospital.
