Survey: Majority of Delhi-NCR customers imagine milk they purchase isn’t pure

NEW DELHI: Twenty-one per cent of the 45,000 respondents in a survey in Delhi-NCR mentioned they imagine the milk they purchase “has some water, fat and milk powder”.

The survey acquired round 45,000 responses from family customers throughout all districts of Delhi-NCR, and amongst them, 21 per cent imagine the milk purchased by them “has some water, fat and milk powder”, they company mentioned.

“Another 21 per cent of the respondents believe that the milk procured by them has adulterants and 17 per cent believe the milk bought by them is being diluted with water,” the survey claimed.

With a few of the “major” milk producers having their manufacturing items in several states, the method of milk aggregation by way of co-operatives results in lengthy distance journey for the product to succeed in the customers, LocalCircles mentioned.

“Some of the respondents also believe that the long distance travel somewhat affects the purity and quality of milk,” the survey claimed.
