Surat: 5-year-old boy killed after being hit by automotive

A five-year-old youngster, son of a development labourer, died Tuesday after he was allegedly hit by a automotive in Navsari, police stated. Police have arrested the physician, who was driving the automobile, within the reference to the incident.
On Tuesday afternoon, Amit Dawar and his spouse Leela, each residents of Vejalpur space in Navsari and natives of Madhya Pradesh, had been working at a setting up website at Veerbhadra advanced, close to Navsari Railway station and their son Anshuman was enjoying on the underground parking space close by, police stated.
Dr Pritesh Patel, who runs Neocare hospital in Jalalpore, was returning to his home at Veerbhadra advanced when his automotive hit the kid.

“It was dark inside the parking area and the doctor apparently did not see the child,” Navsari police sub-inspector N D Chaudhary stated.
Dr Pritesh and the kid’s dad and mom took him to Orange hospital in Navsari, the place he was declared useless on arrival.
Later, Davar lodged a criticism with Navsari city police station towards Dr Patel which registered an offence beneath related IPC sections 279 and 304(a) and the Motor Vehicle Act. The physician was later arrested.
