SSC rip-off: BJP takes out rally in Kolkata to protest towards faculty jobs irregularities

KOLKATA: The BJP’s West Bengal unit on Thursday took out a rally right here to protest towards alleged irregularities within the recruitment of lecturers and non-teaching employees in government-sponsored and-aided colleges.

Led by BJP’s state president Sukanta Majumdar and different senior social gathering leaders, the protest march – Kolkata Chalo – started at College Street and culminated at Rani Rashmoni highway in central Kolkata.

“The corruption in School Service Commission is just the tip of the iceberg. The entire TMC and its government are knee-deep in corruption. Partha Chatterjee and other corrupt leaders should be put behind bars,” Majumdar stated.
