Snowfall and rain in Himachal, snowfall in Lahaul, Leh-Manali closed

The weather in Himachal Pradesh has taken a severe turn. The overnight high altitude area received snowfall on Wednesday. Lahaul Valley has the highest snowfall and the mountains are covered with snow. Snowfall in the upper regions, rain in the lower and middle regions. The morning also started on Thursday with drizzle and thick clouds. However, some areas have sunshine.

Earlier, Manali received 8 mm of rain on Wednesday night. At the same time, there is 7 mm water in Dalhousie and six mm in Dharamshala. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of clear weather in all areas of the state on Thursday, but the outbreak of cold will remain. According to the information, 15 cm of snow has fallen in Keylong of Lahaul. Due to this, Leh Manali highway is now closed.

There is 7.5 snowfall in Udaipur of Lahaul-Spiti, six in Gondla and six centimeters in Kelang and one foot in Rohtang and four inches in Atal Tunnel. It has snowed at night. Chamba district also received rain and snow on Wednesday.
