Shinde appoints secretaries, treasurer and spokespersons for his Shiv Sena faction

MUMBAI: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Wednesday made new appointments for the Shiv Sena faction led by him.
Trade union chief Kiran Pawaskar and Sanjay extra had been appointed as occasion secretaries, whereas Deepak Kesarkar, Uday Samant, Gulabrao Patil and Sheetal Mhatre had been appointed as spokespersons, a launch from his workplace mentioned.
Balaji Kinikar was appointed as treasurer, it added.
Shinde rebelled towards Shiv Sena president after which Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray final month which led to the downfall of the Thackeray-led authorities.
The Shinde-led faction has approached the Election Commission, in search of recognition as the actual Shiv Sena.
